In November, members of the Ruth St. John and John Dunham West Foundation board, President Phyllis Schippers and Bernie Zimmer, visited the Arboretum’s almost complete Propagation Center.
This not-so-grand opening will be followed by a ribbon cutting in spring when the project is fully completed and landscaped. We thank The West Foundation, who most generously funded this new center of Arboretum operations.
The Center has been designed as a utilitarian space, and the expansive porch will allow for the organization of volunteer crews and informal events. Also attending were joined by John and Cher Burish who reviewed landscape installations sponsored by George Grimm, John’s uncle.
