Walking trails are open dawn to dusk

Notice to Donors, Visitors, and Friends:

There has been some concern expressed that the City of Two Rivers has closed the Arboretum. This is not the case. We will continue with our core mission of providing habitat and forage for migrant and resident birds and wildlife. The grounds remain open to visitors as a place of quietude and sanctuary.

However, due to the City’s decision to cut off our irrigation water supply and their attempt to block electrical service to our well, we were unable to proceed with our 2024 planting season. As a result, you may notice increased vehicular activity on the trails as we manually water trees.

Additionally, the City has blocked power to The West Foundation Propagation Center, leaving the building unfinished and unavailable for public use. This also means our Mobility Carts cannot be charged and are temporarily unavailable for public use.

WPS will soon provide power to the wells, allowing us to resume planting in 2025. We thank you for your continued support.
